Product Description
The design purpose of this equipment is for the smelting of low carbon steel and low alloy steel. The main raw material for smelting is scrap steel.
This electric arc furnace adopts a furnace cover rotating top loading, eccentric bottom tapping, electrode lifting, furnace body tilting, etc., all of which are driven by hydraulic pressure. The conductive cross arm adopts a copper steel composite water-cooled type, and the tube water-cooled furnace cover is equipped with a central refractory material. It uses alkaline furnace lining and PLC+electro-hydraulic proportional valve control technology.
Smelting process: Smelting adopts a three-stage operation, with the melting stage, oxidation stage, and reduction stage to refine white slag. After the composition and temperature meet the standards, steel can be produced.

The high current system of the electric arc furnace uses pure copper as the conductive medium, and the overall circuit resistance is small. Taking into full consideration the skin effect when current passes through a conductor, the cross arm adopts a box shaped copper steel composite plate structure, which can effectively reduce the generation of resistance and heat on the side. The electrical automation control adopts a human-machine interface, which simulates the real furnace body form and is easy to operate. Ingredients, feeding, smelting, and steelmaking can all be operated on a computer.
5.High arc initiation efficiency
Adopting a new type of electrode adjustment system, the electrode lifting control of the electric arc furnace breaks the traditional single signal return control technology. It adopts multi signal acquisition and PLC signal comparison technology to improve the electrode arc starting speed and avoid long-term impact on the upper level power grid system during the arc starting process of the electric arc furnace.

EAF steelmaking process
1, The basic process of electric arc furnace steelmaking includes slag removal and reheating, loading metal furnace materials, power transmission, melting, oxidation, reduction refining, and steelmaking. According to the different characteristics of the steel being smelted, there may be different operating methods, and the smelting process mainly involves three stages of operation: melting, oxidation, and reduction
2, With the continuous development of technology, the electric arc furnace steelmaking process has undergone significant changes. During the melting period, auxiliary energy sources such as oil oxygen injection, natural gas oxygen injection, or coal powder oxygen injection are used to accelerate the melting process. The melting time per furnace has been shortened by 15-20 minutes, and electricity consumption can be reduced by 50-60 kWh/t;
3, In the oxidation period, measures such as early dephosphorization, enhanced oxygen consumption, powder injection to produce foam slag, rapid temperature rise, etc. can reduce the amount of oxidative decarbonization from 0.3% of the traditional process to 0.1%~0.15%, thus reducing the oxidation period by more than 50%.
4, During the reduction period, the traditional process of diffusion deoxidation is mainly replaced by precipitation deoxidation, with diffusion deoxidation as a supplement. White slag or carbide slag needs to be produced, and each furnace requires 3-4 hours of smelting, with a high electricity consumption of 600-700 kWh/t. Not only can it achieve the expected refining effect, but the steel quality is guaranteed and the reduction time is shortened by more than 60%.
5, The improvement of process ensures the quality of molten steel while increasing productivity by about 20%, reducing electricity consumption by 10% to 15%, and electrode consumption by about 8%, achieving considerable economic benefits.
