Introduction To Water-cooled Furnace Cover
The electric arc furnace cover includes the furnace cover body and the receiving hopper device. The main structure frame is made into a circular shape with seamless steel pipes, which not only serves as the strength requirements of structural members, but also serves as the main inlet and return water pipelines. Each cooling water pipe is connected through the main inlet and return water pipelines.
The rest is composed of slightly smaller dense tubes. The water-cooled plate is easy to replace and maintain, and its service life is>3000 boilers.
Electric arc furnace (EAF) roof's water-cooled material pipe is adopted at the lower part of receiving hopper. Flanged stainless steel metal hoses (with swivel adapter) are adopted for the main inlet and outlet cooling pipes of the furnace cover, and handle-type stainless steel metal hoses are adopted for other water cooling pipes.
The central part of the electric arc furnace (EAF) roof is a small central cover with three electrode holes, made of refractory castable.
