Induction furnaces are divided into two categories: induction melting furnaces and induction heating equipment. The former is used for melting or heat preservation of materials, and the charge is finally in liquid state; the latter is used for heating materials, including uniform heating of the whole material, surface heating or local heating.

An induction furnace is an electric furnace that uses the induction electrothermal effect of the material to heat or melt the material. The main components of an induction furnace are sensors, furnace body, power supply, capacitors and control system.

In addition to heating or melting in the atmosphere, induction furnaces can also heat or melt in vacuum and protective atmospheres such as argon and neon to meet special quality requirements.

Induction furnaces have outstanding advantages in heat permeation or melting of soft magnetic alloys, high resistance alloys, platinum group alloys, heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant alloys and pure metals. Induction furnaces are usually divided into induction heating furnaces and melting furnaces.

Rectifier transformer
  The rectifier transformer model used in this equipment is ZSSB-20000KVA/35-1.65 * 4, including the transformer body, expansion oil pillow, and all accessories accompanying the transformer body. The cooling method is strong oil water cooling.
  The transformer is equipped with protection functions such as heavy gas, light gas, and pressure relief, and is also equipped with oil temperature detection components, which can achieve high temperature alarm and over temperature trip protection. The relevant protection signals can be transmitted to the high-voltage switchgear.
  The transformer capacity of this equipment is 20000KVA, which is composed of a ZSSB-20000KVA/35-1.65 * 4 transformer combination. Used to reduce the 35KV high voltage of the power grid to 1650V. The primary voltage of the transformer is 35KV, the secondary voltage is 1650V, with 12 phase output, and the secondary connection is △/Y four sets of voltage output.
 
 Medium frequency power cabinet
  The power cabinet adopts the GGD standard cabinet structure, with three segmented cabinets fixed on a groove base and connected to each other through fixing parts, forming a whole. The electrical components installed internally mainly include low-voltage vacuum circuit breakers, fast fuses, rectifiers, inverters, as well as various control transformers and drive components. There are various display instruments and operation buttons installed on the door of the electrical cabinet. The main control board, which serves as the core of the control system, is also installed on the door of the electrical cabinet.
  The power cabinet model of this equipment is KGPS-18000/0.15, which adopts a 24 pulse rectification circuit and is jointly implemented by two sets of 12 pulse rectifiers to achieve 24 pulse rectification mode.
